General Summary of the Job:
ESA is currently seeking Teachers for a new private educational program
to open soon in the suburban area north of Atlanta, Georgia. This program
will be focused on providing educational services as well as social
skills development to traditional and learning disabled students who
need help obtaining their high school diploma in preparation for college.
We are looking for qualified individuals who have a passion for education
and a heartfelt desire to work with students at middle and high school
levels to help them succeed in achieving individual goals.
Our Teachers are responsible for planning curricula and classroom schedules,
preparing lesson plans and other instructional materials and providing
effective educational instruction to meet individual needs of students.
The position also requires managing classroom activities and student
behavior, reporting student progress, maintaining appropriate records,
and nourishing a classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements:
The position requires a Bachelors Degree in Education (preferably Special
Education) from an accredited college or university and one to two years
of related experience and/or training. Must be licensed to teach in
the state of Georgia. Ideally, candidates will have experience working
with challenging student behaviors.
